Rainy Day Skye

It was rainy on Thursday morning before I went to work, so Skye and I went outside and had a mini-photoshoot!

It was pretty short because...well, unbeknownst to the temperature outside, I went outside in a t-shirt and shorts (as did Skye). It was cold! Besides that, this is Arizona, so it really wasn't cloudy for that long. orz

This post is more picture-heavy than text-heavy, so follow under the cut to see more! It's pretty much just a really short photo-story and then all pictures. I'm uploading some of them to my Flickr, too, so you can check them out there! ☆
 Skye isn't native to the desert, but she's been here long enough to fully understand that rain just isn't a common thing here. She's been converted to our mindset, it seems...

Skye: "It rained last night!"

Skye: "It looks pretty outside...can we go out for a little bit?"

I grabbed my camera and we went out to take photos. The weather was temperamental and stopped raining when we went out, but naturally would start again any time we went out from under cover >_<

 

 Skye: "Everything looks so pretty when it rains! All the plants look so green and beautiful..."

 

 Skye: "...but...it's actually pretty cold out here. We can go inside now, right?"

 

Skye: "It really is pretty outside, but I like this a lot better! It's warm in here."

 

Skye: "Maybe I'd rather watch the weather from inside...it's warm, and this chair is comfy..."

Skye: "zzz..."

Me: "(Already!? We woke up like 20 minutes ago...!)"

(...but, a model's first photoshoot is always exciting, even if small~)

And, of course, the omake-photos! These are really mostly alternate-angle shots or things that just didn't get used. & I drew on them, so they're a little less same-y.

Accidental flash revealed the secrets of the 2nd half of the photoshoot -- the sun came out! orz

"Rain! Do you like rain, too?"
I have never been trained to write in Japanese, so I hope that's right.

*snore*

Long time no blog update again, and even this isn't a planned blog post (there are 2 or 3 unfinished drafts for loot). But the cloudy & cold weather was nice, and I had some time before I had to go to work, so we went out and had a little fun.
